Thanks, kate! You are fine, and i checked on the engineering, and I am fine.

I don’t know about you, but I’d like to use this site for questions about my application or dorms (or college life)-- stuff that’s actually helpful, rather than have pointless debates. Some people might have time to type all that out, but I actually need to get work done and have a productive life. gosh!

I feel like this thread has become the main stage for the Bitter Olympics…just saying

@kitkatkatie… seriously read the stuff for the duke web site…
It says clearly on the page that if you send ACT scores and are applying to the Pratt school of engineering, which i assume you are since you checked off engineering, that you need to send along with it a Math SAT score. Good luck with Duke. Seriously i mean it
http://www.admissions.duke.edu/jump/applying/apply_testing.html

From the Duke website:

“Students must take either the three-part SAT and two SAT Subject Tests, or the ACT including the writing exam. Applicants to the Pratt School of Engineering who take the SAT must take one SAT Subject Test in Mathematics (level 1 or level 2). Students who take the ACT are not required to submit SAT scores, but they should plan to take the ACT that includes the writing exam.”

Katyphilly - You’re golden. Whether you want to go to Duke is another question - these are the brainiacs you will be hanging out with.

Oh kitkatkatie…you make me laugh.

bcguy, I didn’t send in any SAT, so I don’t need to send in a math subject test.

I just got into emory, so I’m feeling good about duke. i don’t think I’ll need your kind of luck, especially since you can’t read. zoom zoom zoom ;)
