No science class senior year?

Do you think I’ll do okay in college science classes if I don’t take one my senior year. I’m not planning in majoring in science, but I wanted to ask you if it was a good idea. I know if you don’t keep up with math class then you could forget all the math you learned when you get the college.I want to know if science is a similar deal.

Here is my plan for next year’s schedule
AP lit
AP Calc AB
AP Psychology
Advanced Film
Government for one semester and drawing for the other.
Programing

No, you won’t forget all science you learned. Science tends to be non-progressive throughout high school, so what you take senior year generally won’t build upon previous classes as much as say, math or english would. However, I would encourage taking a science course senior year. What are you majoring in? Programming can almost fit the science category, and although not lab science, it is a form of computer science.

Your schedule is okay for a non-math related major.

I’m honestly not sure what I want to major in. Psychology has always been an interest of mine, but I’m not 100% sure.
That will probably change though.

Since you aren’t sure, not taking a science is closing options for you. I would definitely switch a lab science for programming.

I’ll think about taking human anatomy and physiology.

Thank you for your suggestions.

It depends on where you want to go. An extra year of science is preferred, colleges want more than the minimum from their applicants. Especially since you’re unsure of a major, not taking a science class could be closing doors for you than you didn’t even know were open.

It’s usually preferred to have more classes than average.
Since your undeclared, I’d recommend taking a science. You never know what you might be interested in.
