That’s really terrific. Of course, there is plenty of talent out there outside of the Ivy League.
What do you call a fifth year Aggie? Boss!
100% of Fortune 1 CEOs were born in Mobile. If you want your kids to be successful, go to Mobile to give birth.
Edit: Didn’t realize Fortune wasn’t just a ranking of market cap. 100% of CEOs of companies with above 700B market cap were born in Mobile.
Yeah but how many of those guys end up in the top billionaires list. I rather my kids to be founders than CEOs.
Mexico has the most people in the group of the top two richest people on earth per capita.
Talk about small sample size. At least do it for the F500 if you care to put together some meaningful ranking.
Here is the highest-paid American CEO, he went to state school. UCSD.

I think if you can survive 4 years in College Station, which is a hideous place, you are prepared for great things!
I think the same can be said about the USC area.
What is wrong with College Station (other than producing an “oops” candidate in the previous Presidential election)?
I have never been there, but I thought it is a little “not so bad” college town and the only down side is that it could be a little bit boring as compared to, say, the nearby Austin. But it should not be as remote as where Williams College is at.
I heard that if you want to be in the politics in Texas, you had better be either an aggie or a longhorn. Going to an ivy is a big minus (unless your family and family’s connections are very “powerful”.)
It’s hideous. Flat and concrete. No natural beauty. USC is a pretty campus!
Texas A&M is a great place to attend college. The people in the town actually like college students and it is hard to get into too much trouble. The best part of all is how friendly the students are.
Aggies?
No thanks, I’ll stick with Hoagies
Three out of one hundred is far from statistically significant. And I can’t help but notice how the headline is cleverly worded to imply that it is the best for graduation CEOs, when in reality it is simply tied with five others.
Abuse of statistics and clever turns of phrase, nothing else to see here.
Howdy!
Y’all are right! Please do not promote A&M. Continue to pursue HYPS and the rest 'cause that is the only ticket to a bright future…Shoot, you may end up dead considering all those Medal of Honor thingies displayed in Rudder Hall (think “Pointe du Hoc” in the Northern France). Plus, they’re part of the SEC…gasp!
Gig’em!
What happened when the Aggie moved from Texas to Oklahoma? The IQ of both states went up!
Hype the school if you want (it’s a good school), and call HYPS overrated if you want (they are). Don’t use questionable statistics and articles like this to do so - it’s just disingenuous.
Who even picks the feature threads for this place? This is not only insignificant and misleading but also not very relevant. Why not feature a thread that actually has discussions?
