No UVa Transfers?

Wow...this time this year a bunch of ppl, including me, were going nuts about UVa transfer apps and such....seems dead this year :p

i noticed that as well.

I applied as a transfer student for the spring 2006 term - no news yet!!!

this time last year*

Im applyin as a transfer for the Fall of 2006 but UVA is my long shot, i'll have a much better chance of getting into JMU or VT but i'm just gonna apply anyways.

what are your stats?

i'm applying, but i dont think i will go if i get in.

stats? gpa, sat, etc.

uhh I had like a 3.3 gpa in high school, but my grades got better each year, and a 1280 on the old sat... I dont really know bout my college grades but yeah im not really expecting to get into UVA, jus givin it a shot.

4.38 in high school, 1300 sats. now in vt , aiming for engineering. looks like i will get 3.8 or something this semester

you'll be fine chricessill....

yea i am not worried as i dont plan to go. btw, i remember you transferred from VT this year, if you don't mind could you tell me your reasons? i like VT a lot better than I think i would have at UVA.

academic prestige, more good friends here, nice town, closer to large metropolitan areas like DC, further from home

I was thinking about transferring to UVA. Are you happy you did?

aside from wantin to get away from my ex gf...i like it alot....professors are great, especially if you're interested in anything psyc
