Hi everyone. I submitted an EA application to Tulane back in the last week of October and still have had no word on an application decision. Does this mean I will not be getting in? Are they holding it back because they will defer me? I was in the ballpark of their admissions stats and did the supplement and etc.. my college counselor told me it was a target school. Thoughts?

Thanks for the non update? No one knows you just have to wait it out.

I applied back in September I’m in the same boat. What were your stats?

Same here. My status has said “Your application is complete and is awaiting review. The Admission Committee is working to render your decision as quickly as possible” for 2 months. However, not many people from my school have heard yet, so maybe they are running a little behind this year.

Also, if you look at previous threads, people have clearly stated that if you haven’t heard it doesn’t mean you have been deferred or rejected. Tulane only promises that you will hear by December 15.

Keep checking. Same thing here for my daughter but she finally heard today–accepted. I think they just have a very big pile to get through.

Yes, I think they accept by cities for Early Action? I could be wrong but no one here has heard but in some other large cities they have all heard.

3.42/4 gpa, however its an upward trend with a 3.78 my junior year at a top 10 private school. My EC’s are excellent, act 31 and i did the supplement. My college counselor said it was a target.

I agree with your counselor, at least based on stats. Of course there is more to it than that.
