I applied for the Nov 1st. deadline with the "preferred student application", and I sent in all of the required documents which have been received. However, I haven't heard back yet (I don't know if they were waiting on my latest ACT scores or not). Is this unusual? Should I contact them regarding the status of my application?

hey walt, if you stated that you had scores to be sent that could be what they are waiting on. if not, give them a call. i know someone who applied prior to 11/1, it was the beginning of december and they still hadn't heard, the school was great about it, they said they would go and look for them and call back. not only did they call back that day that they had them, they called the next day to say a decision was made. i gather that they are so overwhelmed this time of year that it was misplaced and they got on it right away. good luck to you! (yes, they got in, now it's been another few weeks and still waiting for the hard copy of the acceptance and scholarship).

I received word from Tulane today, and I was deferred until their spring admissions. It's so disheartening, I thought that I would be accepted during EA.
They haven't seen my new test scores though, which I hope will make a big impact.

Can I get chances for Spring admissions please?
