My kid is out-of-state, with stats 640M, 640V, 700W, 31ACT, top 1/3 (one bad year -- a 3.65 GPA overall, which would have been a lot higher except for a bad sophomore year). I'm an alumna of UCONN.

UCONN is the top choice, but the out-of-state cost is too high. We haven't gotten any $ letters from UCONN. My kid is getting $ from other public schools (particularly in Ohio, which wiped out the nonresident cost and then some). If no $ from UCONN, my kid is going to have to choose one of the Ohio schools, Pitt or PSU (Pitt is probably 2nd choice right now).

If my kid hasn't gotten anything from UCONN yet, does this mean no scholarship award? Or is there still a chance for non-loan aid after our FAFSA is filed?
