I received an application update today notifying me i was nominated for the Leaders Scholar Community program. Its says only a handful of people are nominated.
Does this mean I have been admitted?
I got one too and was wondering the same thing. My mom thinks it’s their equivalent of a likely letter, but I haven’t seen anything from years past referring to it.
My daughter also got that email today. I think it pretty much means you will be accepted but parchment.com has her acceptance chances at 90% anyway.
Got the same thing, I was confused because in past years, this has been given after offer of admission - has anyone emailed the contact on the bottom?
Also, does anyone know how many people are nominated?
My son received the same notification – it sounds like a sort of Honors program?
Of course this is just speculation on my part, but I think you all are in…seems like a “likely letter” to me. http://www.brandeis.edu/studentaffairs/dcl/firstyear/LSC.html
I emailed the name on the bottom of the letter, asking if this is am indication of the decision, and she said it is not, and she also said she cannot give any statistics about the number of students selected. I don’t know how truthful she was being, but that is what she said.
Does anyone know when we find out about this? I just got my admissions decision but it had no mention of this.
Decisions are out . . .
