<p>Where should I go to look for tutors in subjects that Covel doesn't cover? I'm not an AAP student or athlete.</p>

<p>For the latter, ask your TA/instructor. There are French graduate students who tutor for $$$. Firstly though, I'd just milk the office hours and schedule additional appointments if necessary. If you are still struggling, I'd opt for the paid graduate students or find a French major who will tutor you for less. </p>
<p>For history, it's more reading and writing skills along with persuasion and argumentation. Milk your TA's office hours. Schedule appointments with them. Otherwise you'd just waste $$$ with a private tutor esp. if the TA is the one that's grading your stuff. Outside of the reading and writing - it's memorization and IDs.</p>

<p>I'm curious - which classes are you taking (history and French level)? I've taken a couple of history courses so I might be able to offer some insight.</p>
