Is it possible to get the Non Custodial Parent form waived? I have had no contact with my non custodial parent since I was in 2nd grade, and he has no supported me financially. My family does not know where he lives, his phone line is disconnected and he does not respond to emails. I know other schools have waiver forms and I was wondering where I could find one for UoM

Bump (10 chars)

If its not on the website, email the financial aid office to ask for the form.

yea you can waive it, you have to fill out an application though
I got the email from financial aid with the pdf application as an attachment. It took forever though, so if you PM me your email Ill just forward it to you.
Its a pain though, you need three individual letters explaining your case to go along with it, but if your parents have been seperated for 10 years or more, its a lot easier.

Ok I PMed you thanks btw

Is this the CSS Non-Custodial Statement thing we're talking about? I sent that to Michigan but haven't heard of/filled out any additional forms besides FAFSA and CSS (With Non-Custodial Part)

bump

can anyone forward me this waiver form?

bump again…

for anyone who has filled this out, was the form only one page? on the bottom, they ask for all required signatures, but there’s only one signature spot on the form i received. i just want to make sure i’m not missing anything
