Basically, the only thing i can think I can apply for is based on my Academics, which aren't extraordinary.. I have around a 3.6 Unweighted GPA, which is 4.2 weighted.

I just was wondering if anyone had ideas of how I can get a scholarship?

The reason being that although my parents have high incomes, they are only willing to contribute a limited amount of money.

Generally, if you're the top 20% of applicants/accepted for a school that is known for merit awards, you may be in the running. Check out threads on merit aid. In general, it is helpful to have high test scores as well as high grades to be competitive for merit awards. If you also have good ECs, it also makes you more attractive.

You can search for scholarships on websites such as FastWeb: Scholarships, Financial Aid and Colleges. Your school's counseling office may also have lists of scholarships or they might have a list posted on their website. There might also be scholarships offered just to students at your school from the PTA or booster clubs.

I have been researching scholarships for my daughter and have found that most are very specific in their criteria. The criteria may include items such as your parents' employers, where you live, where you plan to attend school, if your parents were in the military, where you work part-time, if you do sports, diseases or disabilities you have, etc.

There are also quite a few essay and other contests you can enter that pay a prize you can use to pay for school. Fastweb lists some of those and cogito.org lists quite a few contests also.

You also might want to read through the threads in this forum since people have posted a lot of good scholarship sources in other posts.
