<p>Yeah you are free to smoke outside. However many students are complaining about the smoking in front of the school buildings. School thinks it gives the school a bad image. But you should be fine smoking outside in most places.</p>

<p>FYI, Boston has substantial restrictions on smoking so it's not merely BU's decision. No smoking in restaurants, bars - unless they have a completely separate room with its own HVAC - or in buildings open to the public.</p>
<p>oh well i don't smoke cigarettes, just hookah. i don't think i'll be bringing my hookah to the macaroni grill loll.</p>
