Non-Traditional Transfer

I would like to hear from any non-traditional students who have transferred to a top liberal arts college or Ivy or Ivy type (Ivy type=Emory, NYU, CMU, MIT, Stanford) I'm basically trying to find out what schools are the most non-traditional friendly but more important what schools let you be in control of your own destiny as a non-traditional student, from the research I've done a lot of schools only let their non-trad students take a certain number of classes at a time and they limit them to what schools they can apply for once their in the college ex. the business school of the given college.

Thanks, let me know your thoughts

You should try getting the contact info of successful transfers from you're schools transfer counselors, if you go to a CC. They remember the Stanford, Amherst, Harvard, etc transfer students.

A lot of those top schools have colleges within the school geared toward non traditional students, such as columbia GS>

...I was aware of that, do you know if a student is in the school of General Studies can they transfer into a different school within the school once they are already in?

no.........

No you don't know, or "no" they can't?

no they cant
