Hello!
I am moving to Los Angeles this summer for my gap year. I am looking for a place to live in Westwood that is not affiliated with the university. I would like to find an apartment building where lots of students live that is close to the UCLA campus. I want somewhere where I can meet students and that is safe and affordable.

Does anyone have any recommendations of apartment buildings that are popular with students and in good locations?

Thanks!

search craigslist for “ucla westwood” and a ton will pop up… this is only affordable if you’re willing to split a room for about 600-700. good luck.

if you don’t need a kitchen, and want less than fancy digs with plenty of other international students, check out the co-op (UCHA Co-op)

It’s Westwood. Most apartment buildings are going to be filled with students.

Actually, forgot to put the most important part about the co-op - it’s dirt cheap. But you get what you pay for.
