I am moving to Los Angeles this summer for my gap year. I am looking for a place to live in Westwood that is not affiliated with the university. I would like to find an apartment building where lots of students live that is close to the UCLA campus. I want somewhere where I can meet students and that is safe and affordable.</p>
<p>Does anyone have any recommendations of apartment buildings that are popular with students and in good locations?</p>

<p>search craigslist for “ucla westwood” and a ton will pop up… this is only affordable if you’re willing to split a room for about 600-700. good luck.</p>
<p>if you don’t need a kitchen, and want less than fancy digs with plenty of other international students, check out the co-op (UCHA Co-op)</p>
<p>It’s Westwood. Most apartment buildings are going to be filled with students.</p>
<p>Actually, forgot to put the most important part about the co-op - it’s dirt cheap. But you get what you pay for.</p>
