The photographer also worked as President Reagan's private photographer during his White House years.

Thought y'all might find this interesting.
My apologies if it's been posted before.

I bought this in book form at the USNA Visitor Center! I love the last one: "these uniforms are babe magnets". Haha. Actually I think my dad liked that one more than me; he says that's how he got my mom.

bz.... thanks for posting these. Boy, except for the number of plebes and the white sailor uniform, they are very similar to USMMA's Indoc pics!

I copied this caption from your site....

"This was the first day, right after they had said good-bye to their parents. They had been hugging their parents, and their parents had been telling them how proud they were of them. Then they walk into Bancroft Hall and are met by someone who's yelling at them for just being there. They're thinking, 'What the hell am I doing here."

OMG....soooooooo true! Although our last hugs were exchanged at 0750, before our son crossed the threshold into the building to process his paper work. There an upperclassman, posted at the door, told us this was it and I burst into tears. Later, we caught a glimpse of him at the lunch muster outside Delano Hall, where in the pouring rain, my tears mingled with those of the other parents while the sound of the beating drum echoed my breaking heart!

the "What the hell am I doing here?" seems to be a persistant sentiment through out plebe year.

Even though the Class of 2000 photos were taken nearly 10 years ago, they still convey an accurate picture of plebe life.

Thanks for posting the link.
