<p>There are some nice pictures today in the post also of the swearing this year. It was also interesting to see a female grad with a daughter in the class of 2010.</p>

Thanks for sharing the story. Candice, the Marine officer quoted in the article is a family friend, so I emailed the story to her parents in case they missed it. Amazing young people at all of the service academies!</p>

<p>Sharon Hanley Disher's book, First Class: Women Join the Ranks at the Naval Academy, is a really great book. I definitely recommend it!</p>
