<p>The south sucksssssssssssss. I’m applying to maybe 1 or 2 colleges below the Mason-Dixon Line. It’s so boring down here and the heat and humidity is atrocious…</p>
<p>Definitely the north! But I like Georgia, North Carolina and Florida if that counts as being in the south?</p>

<p>haha don’t complain. Over here where I’m at (atm in dubai) it’s UNBEARABLY hot. During the day temps can reach 120F+. I’m slowly dying over here :(</p>
<p>^GA and FL are as Far south as you can go besides Texas…</p>
<p>But Dubai has an indoor ski slope, go there…rofl. Also, it’s not humid in the desert.</p>
<p>^ but it is hot as hell. I can’t even begin to exaggerate how ridiculously hot it it over here [I can’t believe i was used to this weather when i used to live over here]. It’s just worse during the summer months but the weather is much more pleasant during the winter months though.</p>
<p>haha, I live in MN so the ski slope thing would be a waste of money and i’m not very fond of skiing 
at least the malls have air conditioning :D</p>
<p>I lived in the Seattle area for most of my life and a year ago I moved down to Houston. The South sucks (at least Texas does).</p>

<p>I moved north to the South (I used to live in Florida). I love it:</p>
<p>-Awesome accents “Laik, ah know, raigt!” “No tr’ble 't’all!”</p>
<p>-The person at the Burger King window doesn’t give you a blank stare and an eye roll when you ask for a straw.</p>
<p>-The church group doesn’t require a former pro wrestler to keep order.</p>
<p>-Iced tea!</p>
<p>Downsides:</p>
<p>-The very polite clerk at the convienence store doesn’t know the difference between Blue Bonnet and real butter.</p>
<p>-Politics is boring when no Democrats even bother to run in my county. At least we have all the local grudge wars to watch at the city level…</p>
<p>Border states are where it’s at, go Missouri! (I guess you could count Kentucky too)</p>
