Northeastern Appeal Process?

I was rejected from Northeastern as an RD applicant for 2022 yesterday (which nearly broke my heart). Today I learned that one of the required high school documents for my application - which I cannot access, and my school counselor had told me she would take care of on my behalf - was never submitted.

So my question is: Does Northeastern have an appeal process for incidents like this? I feel as though a judgment was made on me unfairly even though I was not in control over the situation. My counselor didn’t do her job. This likely skewed my chances with other colleges I’ve applied to, as well.

I feel as though I had very good odds with NEU and because my ED school didn’t work out, they were my top choice. I realize I may have been rejected for other reasons, but I would still like to appeal if possible.

My stats:
White, American, middle-class female; both parents have been to college
1400 on redesigned SAT
4.32 Weighted GPA
I have two steady, demanding extracurricular activities. I am in a leadership position in one of them.
I have been in dual enrollment and thriving with straight As and full class loads for the last two years.
I’ve even been involved in undergraduate research already and have been credited with part of a research project which has won recognition and grant funding in my state.

Had you checked the applicant status portal before decisions came out? Did it indicate that the document was missing?

Yes, I’d checked my status portal several times, and it said everything was accounted for. The thing left out was my midyear report, which I never saw a box for in my status portal. My counselor assured me and my family that she would upload everything on her end of the applications, presumably the report included, because my high school doesn’t give students a means of accessing official documents themselves.

You could appeal but I see no mention of the process on the website. Call them Monday.

Alright, I will. Thank you for your time and advice.
