Northeastern, Boston College, or Holy Cross PreMed

Which school provides for the best undergraduate opportunities in MA?

Holy Cross just opened up a brand new 60 million dollar science complex in January so they have some incredible facilities for the sciences. They have a very well regarded premed program. Over 10% of their alumni are physicians. Premedical and Predental Program | College of the Holy Cross

They're all probably about equal as far as opportunities go.

I go to NU and think there are a lot of good pre-med opportunities... especially with co-op, plus all the surrounding hospitals (Harvard Med's affiliated hospitals are literally 5, 10 minutes away) where a lot of students get co-ops or volunteer. But it's 15,000 and very urban, unlike HC and BC.

BC is a great school and has the best reputation of the 3. I'm sure pre-meds do very well there, and it's a nice location if you aren't looking for urban.

Holy Cross is known to have a better pre-med program than BC.

If you are planning to be a Science major, and are interested in going above and beyond typical Bachelors courses, NE is better. Why? Because NE has a Pharmacy school which offers a great range of courses in Intro to Physiology, Pharmacology, Medicinal chem, and Pharmacokinetics.

If you are a non-Sci major, the above doesn't apply.
