I have a 29 act and a 3.7 weighted gpa, 3.5 unweighted. I don't have much extracurricular but the debate team and junior civitan, and I got cum laude award on the national Latin exam. I took ap psychology my junior year, and am taking ap physics and calculus my senior year. I applied as a nursing major but feel doubtful that I will get in...do I have any chance at all? I applied early decision. Also, when will I probably know whether or not I got in or not?

I bumped my act score to a 32 and sent it to them.

Northeastern is an EA school, not ED. Check their website to see when they send out EA decisions.

Taking a look at D’s HS Naviance scattergram, every student who applied with your original stats got in. We’re from the Midwest, so that might make a difference if they practice geographical diversity, e.g. New York/New England students might be held to a higher standard. The only 29 is see that got rejected had a 3.3 GPA UW, and recall that the scattergrams never take course rigor into account.

If you got a 32 on the ACT, I’d say you’'d be a near lock if you came from here. YMMV.
