Hi everyone! I was accepted to and am torn between Northeastern engineering and Cooper Union. Either way, I would major in electrical engineering. Finances are not an issue, as I received sufficient aid. Does anyone have any insight on student experience at these colleges? How do the academics and job placement compare? Any advice would be helpful. Which one should I choose? Thank you so much!!
Cooper Union is a very unique school in many ways as you are hopefully aware of. It’s going to offer a great engineering experience, but it won’t offer as much outside of engineering compared to a full university like Northeastern. How certain you are in engineering should come into play there.
Careerwise you’ll be pretty similar out of both so I would focus on what you prefer in terms on environment here between the schools. Did you get a chance to visit either of them?
