What’s good about my chances, what needs improvment? Please let me know.

Northeastern itself is probably a match for you, but the honors program is gonna be hard.
This is mainly because a lot of people applying to super selective schools apply to NU as a “safety” (with absolutely perfect applications) and tend to get into the honors college.
Maybe if you increase your SAT score to 1520+ your chances may increase!

Chance (roast) me back!

Ooh it’s hard to tell. I really want to get into the honors program too (33 ACT 4.6 GPA). They say that the top 10% of applicants are reviewed for the honors college (they review GPA, test scores, leadership, and community service). I saw an RD kid get accepted to the honors college with a 2110 SAT. It depends on weighted GPA also. Do you know how they recalculate it by any chance? I’d say you have a chance of getting into the honors college. Are you supposed to apply to the honors program or just a specific college?

I know for a fact that they have their own way of recalculating gpa’s because that is what one of the admission counselors told me during a visit. I’m not exactly sure how though. I think that you just apply to the college and the honors program is just a separate thing that they consider themselves, there really isn’t an application. Also, do you know if they reported yet what the new SAT average would look like on a 1600 scale?
