I intend on pursuing a biochem and business major with the hopes of getting an md.mba eventually. I got into Northeastern’s honors program and University of Florida’s Honors Program. Northeastern seems to be the perfect school due to the co-opps and opportunities present but Northeastern would cost be 33k per year just tuition vs 3k a year for Univeristy of Florida which is a little over 100k more after 4 years. Which school would be the better option?
Would that 100k be loans? If so, UF all the way. Are they paying any part of it? If so, how much? If your parents are paying it, can they afford it / will it affect them significantly?
@PengsPhils no loans, we can afford it but if they end up paying for undergrad at Northeastern they might not pay for my graduate school but if I go to UF they definitely would pay for graduate school (business + medical).
Do you want to go to grad school? If so, go UF. If you think undergraduate will be better for you, it sounds like NEU is affordable.
Grad school is paid for if you’re worth anything (in fact, paying yourself is a huge no-no) UNLESS you mean med school or law school. MBAs are typically done about 2-5 years after graduation and are often paid for by the employer.
@MYOS1634 Right now I want to do a md.mba program which would be 5 years of business and medical combined so I don’t think I would be able to get it completely paid for
Thanks for this information . I knew stem-mba an md-phd programs existed but not md-mba. Which university offers this option?
