Going to be antsy all day…
OITNB is getting me through today. But I just started the last episode so now I’ll find other ways to kill time.
@afree4, finished OITNB yesterday. I felt disappointed. The first two season were so amazing this one seemed lackluster. Anyway good luck to everyone today!! I wonder if they will wait till the evening?
Lol i’m fkin sick… sooooooo basically bedridden, hacking up sh*t and checking my NU applicant portal every hour… What a day…
Are we all expecting decisions at the usual 6:30? Or does anyone think they’ll release throughout the day? At this point, who tf knows… Sort of expecting to not even receive a decision today, knowing what we know about NU admissions.
On the slim chance I am accepted, I’m sort of embarrassed to say I’m still considering going, even after the experience we’ve all had.
@rainbowunicorn1 Truthfully, same. Not even expecting to hear from them today. But I think at this point, they’d really have to dazzle me with a crazy FA offer for me to consider them, because I’m all set for a different college anyway. Interesting in a way, because all through highschool all I wanted to do was go to NU.
I’m totally in the same boat of not even expecting a decision today. The kicker is, I probably won’t get good aid, on the VERY slim chance that I’ll be accepted. In spite of that, I might still even go. It is an excellent school and once enrolled we would never have to deal with this department again, so there’s that…to be fair NU is doing exactly what they said they would do, which is give everyone a decision by June 15th. The only thing they could stand to do is be more accomodating to those who need expedited decisions, and just be nicer in general when transfers call asking questions after 2.5 months of silence.
i still havent heard anything either. what time do you think we would be notified?
Some admission decisions are out as of 5pm. My Son was just accepted! Hope you all get the same news!

This is getting really frustrating, like what time are they going to tell the rest of us?
ACCEPTED (SOMEHOW?) Alright here are my statistics.
College(s): Auburn University and (most recently) Ohio State University
GPA: 2.99 at Auburn and 3.01 at Ohio State… So like…3.0…
Major: Environmental Science
Based on all of your guy’s statistics I don’t know how the heck I got in but I am guessing it has something to do with applying for a relatively unpopular major. I imagine getting in to NU as a business or engineering major is exponentially harder. Not sure if I can go yet, though. I need to weigh out my options from here but wow, congrats to all who were accepted and for everyone else keep trying and good luck I saw people with a lot of promise get rejected on here and I’m still pretty baffled by it.
