northeastern, umd, penn state

i'm having difficulty in choosing which college to attend.
i've been accepted into penn state, northeastern, and umd's engineering programs.
money is a bit of a problem, but i know i'll get a lot of aid.
i'm looking for a college that can give me the college experience, as well as give me the proper education and a good look on my resume as i hunt for jobs after graduation.

i know northeastern has a killer co-op and a pretty good engineering program.
i know umd has the awesome college experience, a good engineering program, but huge classes and no co-op(?)
i know penn state has awesome colege experience, but i dont like their campus.

so for me, its down to umd and northeastern.
which one would you prefer? and why?

UMD’s got a great co-op program actually, they should probably publicize it better. the classes are definitely large in the beginning courses that all engineering majors take, you’ll be in lecture halls with 100-200 people, but they have discussion sections as well, which are taught by TA’s and are only about 20 students. You do get smaller classes eventually–I’m in my second semester of sophomore year, and I’m done with large class sizes, won’t be in any over 30 again unless I take some electives. Don’t know about the other schools, but that’s been my experience

edit: you can use testudo to get an idea for class sizes

http://www.sis.umd.edu/bin/soc?term=200908&crs=DEPT

all the engineering classes start with EN, and then have the other two letters based on what type of engineering…i.e. mechanical is ENME

Just scroll through and see how many seats each classes have
