Out of those who’ve been accepted and committed, what day are you going to orientation?
when are we thinking that the next round of decisions are coming out?
If i had to guess either Tuesday or Wednesday because thats when the last ones were sent
When is the deposit deadline for Northeastern? Maybe they are waiting for people to commit who have already been accepted but have not put down the deposit down yet? Which might explain why some have not heard back yet. I’m just theorizing here… still waiting just like the rest on this thread. Never lose hope.
I think they’re probably doing that because it makes sense if they keep saying everyone will get a decision by June 15th @StillWaiting2019

What do you mean you only have an ID number? I mean, I got an email saying that my application was received and thanking me for my interest in applying, but that was along with my ID number. Are you saying you got in already and are trying to find housing? You can sign up for housing once you accept your admissions offer and start looking for on or off campus housing by making a myNortheastern account but for me even though I put on campus housing in my Common App nothing in my admissions portal indicated on campus housing was an option once I was accepted. @NEUWannaBe101
@badblood I only have my NEU ID number. That is included in the email that says they received our application. I have not heard back yet, but I guess my question is, even if I haven’t heard back should I start looking for housing anyways, or is that after the fact IF accepted?
You also mentioned an admissions portal. Do you mean the application status check? Because I don’t know of any portal to log into other than that Application Check Status.
Hopefully, this was clear enough to understand lol 
Just called admissions and asked if all the decisions have been made regarding acceptance. “By June 15” was the reply…
my friend who got accepted and went to the accepted students day today said that they are going to release their second wave of decisions after the deposit is due for the first wave in order to determine how much space is left. So we will probably not be hearing back for another week at least. I think those who have not heard back are the “maybes”
My guess is that the maybes won’t be getting much financial aid…

I mean, it doesn’t hurt to look around but it’s a lot easier (and safer) to look through the housing search they have through the school but you can only do it that way once you have a myNortheastern account which you can only make once you’re a student so you might not get very far. Essentially, look around but you might not find much. And, I did mean the app status check, I just call it an admissions portal because all of the other schools I applied to called it that so it’s in my brain that way.

Hey even though I didn’t get into Northeastern I’m still planning on going to school in Boston, I’m not sure if anyone is still looking for housing but I’m trying to find some roommates/ an apartment and I’m pretty open to different areas if anyone else is interested in finding an apartment together.
That’s really frustrating.
