I haven’t been following the thread but thought I would share my unique experience. I received my decision email today which said I was denied. About an hour later I received another email from the Assistant Director of Admissions that said it was sent in error and I was actually accepted. I also had a phone interview earlier this week. I applied for Cybersecurity major.
@NEUBound19 wow a phone interview huh, I didn’t know Northeastern goes that far with applicants. Would you mind sharing some of your background? HS, work, current college grades etc. Thank You.
Yes, I have also heard that interviews are not common and not sure why I got one. I have attended several different colleges so that was part of what they wanted to know. I also have a lot of credits (enough for a degree) because I changed my major. I am a veteran and have work experience in my field. Not real sure what my GPA is around 3.4-3.5 I believe. It was a 4.1 in HS but that was 14 years ago. I can tell you the last three semesters I took I had As and 2 Bs.
@NEUBound19 Yea I have two associates myself and a 4.0 at the moment in my current college. Veteran myself as well but not in the cybersecurity field, that’s what might have given you the edge. Best of luck to you. Congrats!
I still haven’t gotten my decision back yet. How did all of you get notified of ur decision? Was it a piece of physical mail, an email, or just checking the portal? I applied as a criminal justice major if that makes any difference. I have basically bit my nails down to the cuticle waiting this long.

@Transfernortheastern around 1pm PST… essentially if you haven’t heard anything yet it’s either a rejection or getting admitted to College of Professional Studies, which is stupid because it’s some weird thing where you aren’t really a part of NEU

CPS is an alternative pathway to earn a Northeastern degree.
Also the people who got rejections earlier this month also mentioned in their letter something about enrollment constraints and how they handed out all spots already.

I’ve applied to the Pharmacy program as a second-year student. I’m still waiting! has anyone here applied to the Pharm-D program as a transfer student this year?
Are all the programs filled for sure or is it just business and some others? If they know this for a fact its kind of annoying they’re still making us wait.
Has anyone who has been rejected, attempted to get in contact with admissions to find out an exact reason what disqualified you? I know it comes down to very small things when they start getting down to very few spots left and decide who to admit. I’m just still curious as to why I got denied. The only thing I can think of is that for the major I was applying, Calculus was a requirement and I am taking it this summer. And admissions told me that If they do accept me its only on the basis that I pass Calculus this summer, otherwise they will revoke their decision. But thinking about that now, if they did that and I did not pass Calc, they will have an empty spot left. So I’m guessing they fed me BS by saying that lol.
@TomSrOfBoston but will it give me the same access to the campus and classes as if I were a part of the business school?
