Hey! I am an international student and have gotten into both of these universities. I'm absolutely torn between them and would love some advice.
Will be majoring in Business.
Rochester :-
Great academics - not many required courses - excellent campus
Northeastern :-
In Boston - excellent opportunities - diversity

Bump…bump…!

Can you afford both?

Rochester is generally considered the more academically prestigious school and more rounded fields in the Arts and Sciences. However NU definitely has a much better location, is quickly rising through the ranks, and is probably a better choice if you’re more focused on pre-professionalism. Selectivity of student body is comparable.

Is finances a factor?

Finances is not a factor

Pick which one you like better. For business, both are essentially equal. In fit, they are different. Choose which you like.

If unsure, toss a coin and see which way you are hoping it will land.

At Rochester the business program is an interdisciplinary program within the Arts and Sciences. At Northeastern business is a full college within the university. Rochester would give you a better well rounded education but Northeastern would give you a better focus in business.

They are pretty even but in 5 years Northeastern will be much more prestigious than Rochester. As of now, NE’s business program is better and boston gives you a lot of oppurtunities. Both great schools but i think NE is the clear choice.

OP, you will not find many with jisacc’s opinion.

And bettercallsaul, I’m sure you’ve heard this already, but that is screen name of the decade :)
