<p>im really anxious about NU so please chance me</p>

<p>-3.3 GPA, BUT it is because of a bad freshman year. my sophomore year i had a 3.5, my Junior year i had a 4.0, and the first part of my senior year i have a 4.0</p>

<p>-class rank- 9/56 which is top 15%</p>

<p>-i go to a military boarding school starting my Junior Year(my choice i was not punished), and i have had a variety of leadership positions, including one where i commanded 17 kids</p>

<p>-many military school ribbons and medals</p>

<p>-great recommendations</p>

<p>-50+ community service hours</p>

<p>-30 ACT</p>

<p>-14 Honors and AP classes</p>

<p>-variety of Academic awards including best in the school for a semester</p>

<p>-past job experience in a warehouse</p>

<p>-JV and Varsity letters</p>

<p>im basically just worried about my GPA, but i was able to get an interview with Northeastern University admissions counselor and i was able to defend myself. I also applied early action which i heard helps</p>

<p>Your GPA is on the low end. Try to bring it up.</p>

<p>I also have connections with NEU (aunt teacher there) but that will make no difference when they are evaluating me. The same could go for you.</p>

<p>Your EC’s are good, but not amazing.
Just really shine in your essay :slight_smile:
and thye could like you for “diversity” because of the type of school you come from. </p>
