Northeastern vs BU (Engineering!)

Hello everybody I am now between these two well recognized colleges and I wanted to ask for some opinions as I don't know which college to choose. From my point of view both colleges are well known in the country but BU is more famous outside of the US. As a Brazilian it would be better in this way to go to BU. However, Northeastern has offered me better things such as honors and a small but important scholarship. Right now I really don't know where to go, and I would appreciate to hear some opinions.

Also, is the honors program very hard? Would it be duable with the engineering program?

Thanks for the attention!

From what I have gathered, the honors program isn’t much different than normal.

As for BU vs NU internationally, that makes sense, because BU still ropes in more internationals than NU. The Co-op experience would help greatly for your future in engineering, so that’s something to consider.

Do some more research, especially into your major, and base your decision off of that, not random CC responses.

i am really confused right now, the more research I do the worse it gets

Take a look at this:

Northeastern has made globalization a priority.

Look at the outcomes (even if there might be some bias) and potential employers. Look at how many people the schools graduate in your area of specialization (third link).

Northeastern’s co-op program is a big selling point. Having experience coming out of school is very valuable. That will be a bigger selling point than name recognition.
