Hello,

I'm an international student and got acceptance from both schools.I will study industrial engineering so which school is a better option for me and why?

Thank You

Both are excellent academically. Northeastern offers the advantage of coop.

In terms of location, they are polar opposites: Northeastern is urban in the middle of Boston, an incredible city for college students. Penn State is in a small college town where your whole life will revolve around campus. State College is also the remotest college town in the US, it is 150 miles from any big city. What lifestyle do you want?

of course i want to live in a big city, because i’m currently living in one and it may be hard to adapt to such a isolated town. But if the education of penn state is way better than (psu ranked way better than NU if that make sense.) NU than i force myself to choose penn state.

I think its a preference thing at this point. Penn State might have better academics but I’m not sure to what extent. At the same time to adapting to change I live in a small city and I have friends that have gone to Penn State and love it
