<p>Although rankings aren't everything, I did notice the UConn comes in higher than Northeastern and was surprised. Is it academically a better school? I know sports are significantly better at UConn but in terms of an education, which school is better?</p>
<p>They are both pretty similar Education wise. One is in a city the other in the middle of no where.</p>
<p>Thanks. Trying to figure out why you would go to Uconn in the middle of nowhere when Northeastern is in Boston, has the coop program, and is equivalent to Uconn in academics. Is Northeastern harder to get in or are they equal as well.</p>
<p>Northeastern is somewhat harder to get into, but many people end up going to UConn over Northeastern for the any of the following reasons
-UConn is Div I monster in football and basketball which draws people
-UConn is better at a few majors (But I think Northeastern is better in the majority by a good amount)
-Both schools are in the same academic range(above average ish), so some people just prefer Uconn for the campus, people, etc…others prefer northeastern</p>
