I know this will sound silly, but you should get nebula it tells you your horoscope. It predicted both my waitlists and also predicted when I was going to get valedictorian with pure precision. Donā€™t put too much thought into it, but itā€™s fun to look at haha.

Those are very good schools and waitlisted there is a good news. Especially UChicago is going to yield protect if you didnā€™t ED. So if you send a strong LOCI, they will call you and accept you in most cases if you will commit on the spot.

I sent my LOCI and put all my heart into it. I was talking about how I was inspired to write a book and how I got it published last week after 7 months after talking with a UChicago professor who is my favourite author. I talked about how I would become a proactive member of change at UChicago and why I would matriculate to the class of 2025 if accepted.

1 week later I got such a template response which filled my room with tears. Thank you for your response though it makes me feel better getting waitlisted.

What was the template response? What did it say? Also this year you may have to wait till May 1 st to get waitlist response.

She said Dear (my name), and then talked about how it was really competitive to get into UChicago this year and then said she appreciated my LOCI and that she would add it to my file. Sheer pain.
