We should make colleges have like a reverse refund policy where if they donā€™t give decisions by a certain amount of time we get our money back. Especially, cuz its not like they are diligent with these anyways. We arenā€™t dumb
and they are still human they procrastinate just as much as we do.

Iā€™ll agree to that. Either weā€™ll get our decisions on time, or we wonā€™t end up spending the huge amount of money we do on applications.

Colleges like Harvard if my friendā€™s math is right made about 4.6 million off of apps alone.

I hope schools realize that the longer they make students wait the less interested we become like my schools from february gave me time to soak it all in.

Yeah, but Iā€™m sure there wouldā€™ve been a lot of fee waivers, so more around 4 million which is still a lot.

I just wait for me email, cuz there is no point. I find it comes out faster when I do other stuff.

So true. If anything, we learn a great deal from other students/parents. This is my second (and last) child to go through this and Iā€™ve learned so much from just reading these threads.

I have a slight problem with college is that they act like as if THEY produce the best people, when inherently they already took crazy geniuses in whatever field or sport. I can see them certainly nurturing talent, but I heavily believe most of their students and a lot of people they reject would be fine anywhere else (maybe not as much opportunity afterwards tho lol). So honestly if yā€™all get rejected I know it sucks but like remember its not the end of the world.
