mine are gone, Medill applicant, US, unlikely to get in (1450 sat, 4.0w) if that helps!
scores stay. US. ACT 36 twice, 4.0 uw, SAT subject (Math II 800, world history 760)
Scores gone. Longshot SAT 1420 4.0 uw, 4.99 w.
Scores still there, US, 1570 SAT, 3 subject tests 780+, 4.0 UW
Weinberg applicant
the scores disappearing doesnt mean an autoreject.
It means that that:
- It's just something they're doing now
- Dec.s are made on those who cant see them
I dont think the “weak ones” are removed. Ik a few including me who have near perfect/perfect test scores and the test-scores thing’s gone.
It’s v.v. weird considering this has never happened before, and no other college is doing this, (but im not sure about this).
Is there any other college doing this for you guys?
1460 4.4 w 3.99 uw (our valedictorian has a 4.7 because of mandatory classes) scores gone weinberg
My portal looks the same as @whatsupu . I don’t have any scores listed at the top (I can’t remember - were they before?), but I do still have them listed as a “received” material in my “application checklist.” I’m a domestic applicant with 1580 SAT, 3.96 UW GPA (and my school doesn’t weight but based on online calculators my weighted is 4.5). I’m a Latina, and I’m a legacy (although I know that doesn’t matter much at NU), and I felt good about my essays but I’m not holding my breath for an acceptance.
I did want to note that I also applied to Stanford and there were similar changes on that portal. Suddenly a lot of people’s “received” date for SAT/ACT scores changed from when they’d submitted the app or scores to late February or early March. I also applied EA to Harvard and lots of people had glitches where they had random materials showing up under their “uploaded materials” list. It ended up being related to the admissions office review (it was mostly mailed in materials or other things) and didn’t mean anything for admission. My point is just these glitches are clearly happening a lot and I don’t think it necessarily means anything - unfortunately we just have to wait and see.
scores gone: ACT 34 gpa 3.85 UW 4.34 W and 2 sat subject tests (800, 740) also I applied to weinberg
My FAFSA date is different on my NU app than other apps. NU has it as 12/31 (the day I turned the common app in) and others have it as 11/4 (when I turned FAFSA in). Does NU just do financial aid dates differently?
scores gone for me. 35 ACT, 4.0 UW, 4.45 W, 6/732 for class rank
Doubt that this is indicative of a decision — these schools know better than that.
@dkahfdfhk Nope.
THough the time of processing them may be different.
SAT 1570 Math2-800 Physics-780 GPA- 95.78(UW)
I think NU rejected me. NU doesn’t like my school since we are a feeder school for UChicago (40+ every year). NU only accepts 5 or 6 from my school every year and most of them are ED.
How sure are you? and how so? (of the rejection)
NU has accepted 1 person from my school since 2016
@whatsupu are your scores still on the portal
scores not on portal: ACT: 33 GPA: 3.9 UW 4.7 W applied to Weinberg. Not sure what to think, doubt its definitive of a decision, the process is too secretive for that.
,
@chocolatehusky my score is gone.
@TheGuy1 I cannot say 100%, but this is my feeling. I have Naviance data in front of me.
I pick NU because of sports spirits.
@whatsupu Maybe, but them not doing this in any of the previous years is very weird.
Does anyone dare to contact the adcom by email to ask this? They wont lie surely. We’ll take their exp.
It’s weird though. We can see a mix of apps whose scores are gone and not.
