THey generally are accurate on what they choose to say/reveal.

Okay fine. I’ll tell everyone here.
So a Time-Out is given if you violate the rules of the forum. Generally a user violates them if you use rude words or hold up demeaning attitude or spam random, unrelated, or same messages across the CC page. The level of this ‘violation’ decides the time period of the Time-Out. When you’re in the Time-Out, you can post one message every 150s, not make forums, and you get the ‘Time-Out’ signature on your icon. It gets progressively worse with more violations while being Timed-Out.
The extreme version of a time-out, i think when you are very insensitive (for example, racially, and so on) your whole account gets ‘Banned’ from the CC page forever. You may “progress” your way there with the exceedingly worse violations of a time-out as well.
I got a time-out which expires soon because I was rude and blunt in answering some questions on the forum.
Idk for what reasons others get it, but its something along these lines.
Just got an email from Rice saying decisions come out next Tuesday at 5 pm CT. We might have to wait on this one too, unfortunately.

NU’s would be coming out next weekend (Thurs/Fri) IMO. Mostly one of the 2 days, between 4 and 7 pm CST.
I’m open to suggestions, but this time and date feels the most logical.

This information is what someone reported here after a phone call to the admissions committee. It is also something I am logically agreeing with.
Looks like you know when the decisions are getting released then. I bet you are one of the members of the admission committee and just told them to shift the date today to spite me.

If you dont want to believe/listen/agree to/with me then simply ignore me. All I’m trying to do is share the latest information to the best of my understanding and reporting capabilities back to the people on here.
@Mimic17 are you sure? Normally I’d agree with you, but someone here called the adcom and got a different response.
IMHO, idk when they’ll be released, but I’m siding with the most sound and logical information people are presenting here. People previously said its this week since NU has historically done this, but after that phone call i am referring to ‘end of march’ was the latest response from the people in-charge themselves, so I’m betting on that.
@TheGuy1 I know everyone is stressed, but you don’t have to keep being so rude to everyone. You PROMISED they were coming out this week, to no avail. That is okay, no one really knows and we were all speculating. Continuing to put other kids down who are just as stressed as you are, is not.
I dmed northwestern admissions on instagram asking them and they said before April 1st, then I asked them if there is any possibility it comes out today and they said typing for 5 minutes (aka. asking someone superior to them what should I reply) and finally said we do not disclose our release date.
I don’t really post but seeing the level of stress here I thought I’d pass along what little I do know. I am an alumna of Northwestern and our alumni committee released an e-mail to us that decision would be released by the end of this week and the interviewers would be informed the beginning of next week so that we may call and congratulate the admittees. So i’m gathering decisions will be released today.
