Northwestern Early Decision for Fall 2022 Admission

3pm central time

Is this (3pm CST) based on past timing or have they published it anywhere?

Just based on past timing! No idea, really what it will be.

Anyone has the Withdraw Request Form on the portal?

what do you think it means?

It was not there before.

Do you think its a good sign? I hope so!

Guys … There are two more days to know the actual result. I hope we don’t go down the bunny hole like other threads on CC to “over analyze” & “dig deep into” page changes, extra hashes, links, fonts etc to try to predict & debate what they mean.

I wish everyone good luck and lets continue to keep this thread helpful

You mean you don’t believe in ‘portal astrology’?:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Do not go to the UPenn ED thread. (Or do, if you want to see how this stuff can go off the rails.)

Wish you good luck!

So the Withdraw Request Form means an admission? can’t wait

I think everyone gets that withdrawal form a few days before the decision

Anyone get their decisions yet?

I’ve heard that once you account for sports recruits and other special category applicants, NU’s ED rate goes down to 10%. Also have heard that NU defers very few kids. Any truth to both statements?

That’s generally true for most ED programs- acceptance rates are always inflated by these factors, so the average chance for a “normal” applicant is only marginally higher than RD applicants (or so I’ve heard).

Was just a bit surprised tho that recruits account for such a large % of EDs considering NU has a relatively high ED acceptance rate (esp when compared to similar competitive schools)
