Northwestern ED Applicant Numbers Up 17%

<p>The number seems even more remarkable given how hot Northwestern has already been with a 32% increase in overall applications in just the past 2 years. And this is for committed early decision, not a flexible early action plan. </p>

<p>"It wouldn't surprise me if students just want to cut out all the noise, simplify their lives, apply early with greater frequency and hopefully get admitted before the holidays and have a good senior year," said Michael Mills, associate provost for university enrollment at Northwestern (Quoted in The Chicago Tribune).</p>

<p>Ugh 17%... don't remind me! I found out the other day and nearly died. So ridiculously nervous about next week.</p>
