Normally both are on par in terms of rankings and admissions, however I am an Economics major, and in terms of that major northwestern ranks pretty high while notre dame does not. So would northwestern be a higher reach, or even with the ranking are both one par???</p>

<p>this isn't like applying for a phd program. i think what matters a lot more is whether the school is transfer friendly or not and i know northwestern is relatively. i don't know anything about nd transfer.</p>
