As a prospective transfer student to the aforementioned schools I was wondering what everyone's opinion was. Factors to consider:

1) Academic Reputation/Prestige
2) Sense of community
3) Friendliness
4) Rankings of relevant departments
5) Class sizes and quality of education

All and any suggestions are appreciated and welcomed. Thanks :)

1) NU > Notre Dame/USC in terms of academic reputation/prestige.
4) NU econ > Notre Dame/USC econ. NU econ is considered one of the premier programs in the field.

It’s difficult to answer the others without attending all of them. I suppose Notre Dame is the best in terms of sense of community since the student body is rather homogeneous. But I imagine you could feel out of place if you are not Catholic.

Hi California_Life
Will you get a chance to visit any of the three schools? I can say we visited NU and USC, and DD decided to not submit her application to USC based on this visit. Her reasoning seemed sound, and you may find the answer to these questions with a college tour yourself.
