<p>Does anyone know anything about the Northwestern College Prep program?

<p>I am going to be a rising junior this summer, and while I would like to go to some sort of research camp, I haven't found any that are open to the class of 2012 besides YESS, which looks like a longshot for any junior. I'm currently considering going to Northwestern in their residential program, or going for the cheaper option as a commuter to my local university. Northwestern only accepts rising seniors or very well qualified rising juniors, while my local university accepts basically all high school students over a benchmark SAT or ACT score. </p>
<p>Both universities give college credit, but Northwestern costs more than twice as much at 4,000 dollars for 3 weeks.</p>
<p>Has anyone participated in the Northwestern program? Is it at all selective? Would it be worth the price?</p>
