Hey everyone! I'm a freshman at DePaul University and I'm planning on applying to Northwestern as a transfer student. I'm already half-way done with the application process but the further I get the more discouraged I become. I hope someone can give me an honest feedback on my chances of being admitted. I'd really appreciate it.

Here are my stats:

ACT Composite: 28 (that's what worries me)
HS Rank: 10/453
HS GPA: 3.8 unweighted, 4.18 weighted
Current GPA: 3.825
HS Extra currical Activities and Awards: Newspaper Staff, Varsity Academic Team, Student Council, French Club, NHS, French NHS, Illinois State Scholar, AP Scholar, Fern Award, Hellen St. John award, Presidential award, some external scholarships and community service
Depaul: DSCA Habitat for Humanity club
I can write some pretty amazing essays and get good recs from my HS councelor and college professors.
BTW I'm a female from Eastern European background with dual citizenship and am majoring in English. I don't know if that really matters...
