Hello. I am a white male, sophomore attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. Northwestern is my dream school, and I am planning on applying to transfer in for next fall. I had a pretty low ACT (29) but good high school GPA, and have maintained a 4.0 through fifty-some-odd college credits. Any advice as to how I can improve my chances or specuation as to what kind of chances I would even have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

bluebluejays, I'm pretty much in the same situation. I'm a freshman at DePaul University with a sophmore credit standing. My ACT is 28 and my current GPA is around 3.9 Unless the transfer applicant pool is extremely competitive (which wouldn't surprise me since the freshman pool was so strikingly large last fall) I think we have pretty good chances. It's worth trying. Worst case senario - we stay at our current schools with $65 less in our bank accounts.

Thanks and good luck ezlife. Anyone else, please?
