Hi,
I’m starting to look at colleges (current high school jr) and have questions about Northwestern University. I’m specifically interested in politics and political science - how is Northwestern in this department? Also, I’m a debater and would like to continue in college - does anyone know anything about the Northwestern debate team (specifically policy debate). Thanks!
Don’t know anything about poli sci.
Our debate team is literally the best in the nation. http://www.communication.northwestern.edu/learn/student_activities/debate/history.php
Idk much about Poli Sci either, but it would be in your best interest to double major in journalism if you wanna do poly Sci. There is an AMAZING program called Medill on the Hill and you get to spend a quarter working in a DC news room.
Ew. Only if you’re interested in being a political reporter, or interested in poli sci in specifically the US.
If you’re interested in doing quant political research double in MMSS, or do something math/econ so you have the background for econometrics.
Mmss20xx - is your “ew” referring to a double major in journalism or a poli sci major itself?
The blanket recommendation for poli sci majors to double in journalism. Doesn’t seem well thought out or pertinent to your case.
