Northwestern, UW-Madison, UMiami, USC, ASU Barrett... I need help

So I am trying to get an idea of which one of these schools is my top choice and I am having issues deciding for myself which best suits me.

I have a desire to live somewhere warm during college because I really hate winter. I've lived in Wisconsin my entire life and I am sick of the cold. Because of this, USC, UMiami, and ASU are really attractive options. I don't mind living far away from home. Not only that, but USC has some of the nicest living arrangements for their students I have ever seen! I would love to have a really nice dorm.

Madison and Northwestern, however, are both in cold climates and don't offer the same housing quality. But, Madison would be extremely cheap seeing as I am in-state, and their athletics are dominant as well, which would be awesome to be a fan for. And a degree from Northwestern has a high reputation, which would carry more weight than any other school I'm applying to.

Can someone help make this decision easier for me?

Have you visited any of the schools yet? That might help you decide. I would recommend applying to all of them and seeing where you get in, scholarships, financial aid, etc. My S is in the same boat - he wants out of the cold IL winters and is mostly interested in CA or AZ schools. He did apply to a few in-state schools in case something changes though.
