Northwood I or Oxford?

I'm currently a freshman at Pitt, but I'll be transferring into Michigan for Fall 2013. I was just given access to room selection, and the only feasible options right now are Oxford and Northwood I (Transfer-year experience). I was just wondering if anyone had experience with either of these housing options, and could offer a bit of insight into them. As someone who would have most of his classes on Central Campus, I know neither is particularly close, though Oxford is walkable.

I know the living space in Northwood I is very nice, but the location isn't. What's Oxford setup like? Are there traditional, community bathrooms? More of a suite-style? Or something different?

Nobody?

I would say pick Oxford. Even though its kind of away from central, it has its own dining hall and the ride to CC little is much shorter. You can even walk on nice days.

Oxford kind of has different little houses. I think it is quads for the most part, with 4 people sharing a room and a bathroom.

If you want a dorm right on central, you could probably still join a waiting list. Some spots open up throughout the summer and early on in the school year
