Not a fan of proctored exams... well just this last one.

So my Manufacturing Engineering final was proctored and it had two parts. First part was closed book, 1 hour, on last 8 chapters covered, second part was cumulative (24 chapters) and for 2 hours. Since this was proctored through my school the process was they give you a timer, you go into a room, take part1, come out and get part 2 and your notes and your new timer, and then finish that part. Well...part one went just fine, but part two was nuts and I completely ran out of time on while rushing through most of the questions.

After I turned it in and got to the elevator, I realized I hadn't even been there for 3 hours so there was no way my time should have ran out. I go back and find out that the lady accidentally set the timer for part two for 1 hours and 20 minutes instead of 120 minutes, aka a 3rd of my test was cut short... So after they figured that out they gave me 31 more minutes (still not clear why only 31) to finish and apologized and said they would let my professor know.

Needless to say my work was definitely substandard on that final, which is pretty frustrating because I went into it with an A- in the class.
