Okay so I just started senior year and I'm kind of freaking out on college admissions. I don't plan on applying this month or the 1st half of next month to anywhere but I'm kind of afraid my record won't look good on applications. For some background, here are my stats:

GPA: 3.2 (UW) / 3.9 (W)

SAT / ACT: 1800/2400 / 28

APs: 10 (World Hist., Bio I, Lang, Lit, U.S. History, Govt. (FLVS), Microecon (FLVS), Macroecon, Calc, AP Computer Science A (FLVS))

Passed all AP tests except Bio.

I'm African American / Arabic / Persian (just in case it difference).

I'm majoring in Journalism or International Relations.

I have a hard as heck senior schedule: 6 AP's (Retaking AP Bio) & 1 Honors (1 Language, 1 Elective).

Now what I'm afraid of is my number of community hours: 81 - 91.

Meals on Wheels Food Program (like a soup kitchen): 27 - 37.

Food Pantry: 13.

YMCA Summer Camp: I don't know. Some number.

Some BETA Club volunteering.

I did get a big experience at the Meals on Wheels Program that really changed my outlook on life, despite not spending a lot of time there. I might write my essay on that or about my experience interviewing Korean War Veterans for a TV Program and what one sentence they said to me that changed my paradigm on life more than the Meals on Wheels experience.

But with that, how negatively would my # of hours affect me on the college app for Florida public universities (FSU, UCF, UF (no chance), FGCU, etc.)?

P.S. The reason I don't have a lot is that I didn't have a license until I was 17 and a car until 3 months after that so I didn't have a lot of time to do much (my schedule isn't flexible).

If this gives any light to anything, here are my other EC's:

Ran an online tech / gaming news publication for 2.5 - 3 years, ran in an editorial capacity (had a team of writers). Established PR contacts & got linked back to by big tech blogs (BGR).

Freelance Web Developer for 2.5 years.

Self-taught xHTML (4), CSS 2 & 3, PHP, WordPress PHP, Photoshop CS4 & Fireworks CS5.5.

Self-Teaching Russian & Arabic (I have native Russians to help me along and to talk with.)

Interviewed Korean War vets for a school / public project. It's going to be aired on local stations (it was a video). I'm also heading web development and designing the site & coding it from top to bottom.

Some other things.
