<p>hehe :D. Hopefully u got in UCM :). Although I got in UCR and rather go there, it’s still a good feeling that at least almost 1/3 of the UC accepted u alrdy

<p>omg… When I saw the email from UCM I thought it was Irvine. It was like “Your status has changed.” I was overjoyed for a split second and then I saw the sender and got mad. </p>
<p>btw, I called UCI, I was on hold for 10min so i hung up. I don’t think they will answer.</p>

<p>I got an email from their financial aid office this morning in class and I totally freaked out when I saw UCI.</p>
<p>But then I was sorely disappointed. They were just telling me to make sure I filled out all required documents. ):</p>
<p>My d has not heard, but in checking test scores, they only had on file Apr. ACT which was 29, even though higher Oct. score of 30 was sent. Question then to admissions was what if she has already been put in the “no” pile and their reply was that when a test score has been changed in their system, it raises a flag and her app. would be reviewed again. Frustrating.</p>
<p>When do you predict the next wave of acceptances will come out? March 1st? I don’t think anyone has been sent a rejection letter yet. Good luck to everyone on this board!</p>
<p>Think I heard 2 ppl get rejected from UCI and were ELC but got in UCSD though seems kinda unbelievable</p>

<p>From what I’ve read so far, UCI sends an email asking you to check your message box in your MyAdmissions page, correct? It sounds like UCI notifies you via email and via MyAdmissions page simultaneously.</p>
<p>I ask because I didn’t get an email from UCR until a couple days after I saw a congratulatory message on my MyUCR page.</p>

and all my friends who were accepted so far got the email from uci telling them about a status change…

<p>@petiza: I think you’re right. I checked my UCR account on Feb. 1 and I was accepted. I didn’t get an email until a week or two after. For UCI, I was given an email to check my status and then I found out I was admitted.</p>
<p>i just talked to my counselor today and he gave me some hope! i told him that a bunch of my friends already got into uci, but i haven’t heard a letter yet and he told me that my application might still be in consideration instead of just a rejection! i don’t know if that’s true, but haha sure made me feel better.</p>
<p>So true, almost March and no word – this sucks.</p>
<p>Sit tight everyone. UCI is known to try their hardest to accept as many students as possible. They will keep releasing admissions until the very end! Sometimes even beyond the deadline!</p>
<p>Well, I just got accepted into computer science major this morning. My basic stats are:
UC GPA about 3.7
SAT: 2020
SAT II Math IIC: 780
SAT II Bio M: 700
Involvement in clubs, volunteering etc etc etc…</p>
<p>So yea…good luck to those still waiting!</p>
