I know how you feel The Legend, but don’t worry when it does come in it will be over. Plus this helps develop patience skills. :P

maybe it just has to do with when we submitted our applications?I k 2now I submitted mine days before the deadline haa

good luck to everyone who is still waiting. You all still have a shot, dont lose hope!

I check my online status every day and still nothing. Have they sent out rejection letters?

Has any pre-nursing majors been accepted yet? I put biological sciences as my alternate and I’m so anxious to see so many people get accepted already because space is taking up. Haha I’m keeping myself sane by rationalizing that the supplemental would require a longer admission process T_T

^I’m waiting for nursing too. /: Also rationalizing the same as you, haha. It makes sense that it would take longer. Although the wait is killing me!

EDIT: And I’m also from San Jose! 0: We’re twins!

A lot of people in my school have gotten in. Someone who was ELC just got in yesterday. There is like no pattern to this…

on the application it says “You are being considered” does that mean no chance at admission to UCI?

How does “being considered” equate to no admission to UCI?

@tabk628

if you are referring to the MyAdmissions Application@UCI, then no the phrase “you are being considered for the [insert majors]” on the homepage doesn’t mean anything, it’s just a generic message on that page. I personally think how they, UCI, is better then how USC is doing theres. Look at how many people are analyzing individual status messages in the USC forum on CC.

transfer student here, transfer decisions are going out NOW… I’m waiting, UCI is my school of choice.

Economics, biz-econ alternative
3.51GPA,
90units completed
local student
first gen college grad*
worked 20-30hours a week since I was 16, currently 21
most breadth requirements done, and all mandatory requirements done
had to retake calc2 a few times, took honors calc 1+2 to help redeem myself a bit(ended it the same semester that I finally passed regular calc2), assuming that either calc2 or honors calc1+2 won’t be included in overall GPA calculations so that’ll raise me up(and give the matriculations expert a large headache)
bodybuilding, cross county, church as other extracurriculars.

*(sorta, both my parents dropped out of school their senior years to go into real estate, both their brothers got masters degrees from UCI though and my grandfather went to CSULB)

New, very considerate message now on my uci application portal: “During March admission notifications are posted prior to 9:00 a.m. No admission status changes will occur for the remainder of the day.”

Now at least I won’t be spending my days refreshing it and checking email. :)

So none will be posted after 9:00, but when do they start to release? Like 5:00? Some people got in like a 3 on this site.

I think to avoid server crashes, they post sometime between 12:00am-9:00am.

so this is going to be an EVERY day thing?

hopefully so, :). Still no word yet :). Though now i’m worried about UCD and UCSB <.< since those come in 2 weeks AND HOPEFULLY NOT WAVES >:O. unless im the first one :) As long as i get in UCD UCSB or UCI im content :D.

soo it seems like they’re sending some out every day now which is good? haha i don’t know, but the wait is seriously killing me!

lol, sad part is the week of UCD UCSB UCSC decisions coming out. I have a physics project and a physics test due the next 3 days and prob some sort of lab D:

I am glad that there is something new on that page…i agree with the person that said that now we don’t have to keep refreshing our page, or checking our phones to see if we got accepted or not. Hopefully, that decision (even if it’s a rejection) just comes in soon.

a lot of ppl are saying that if u havnt heard by now, then you are probly going to get rejected (no offense)
same as wut they did last yr
